There’s something particularly heartwarming to me about the moment a mother places the veil on her daughter’s head. That sheer, delicate fabric is the finishing touch that transforms the daughter from woman-in-a-fancy-gown into real-life-bride-who’s-getting-married in her mother’s eyes. It’s what inspired my illustration below...
